Biography
Matt B. King, Esquire is a native of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and joined the Pearce Law Group, P.C.in 2024. Mr. King received his Bachelor’s Degree from The University of South Carolina in 2002 and earned his Juris Doctorate from the Charleston School of Law where he graduated Cum Laude in 2020.
Prior to attending law school, Mr. King worked as a paralegal for a Myrtle Beach law firm for more than a decade. As a law student, Matt was selected as a Presidential Scholar, a Legal Writing Fellow, a Library Research Fellow and received four CALI Excellence for the Future Awards, which recognize outstanding law students. He was also a member of Phi Delta Phi, a prestigious legal fraternity, and was recognized upon graduation for Outstanding Pro Bono Service for performing more than three times the required amount of public service.
In his spare time, Matt enjoys spending time with his wife Celeste, their two dogs Gidget and Jolene, and cat Aldous. He is also an avid sports fan and follows the Atlanta Falcons and NASCAR.
